Asphalt shingles are manufactured with a seal tab. This tab can become broken during high winds. The damage that may exist could be missing shingles, cracked/ creased or torn shingles, seal tabs lifted, and flying debris could gouge the roof surface. If any of these wind effects have occurred, you may be due a complete new roof replacement. It is highly recommended that you have a professional roofer inspect your roof prior to filing an insurance claim.
After damage has been confirmed by the roofing contractors at Professional Roofers, Inc call the insurance claims number or your insurance agent and request an adjuster come to review and estimate your damage.
After the initial roof inspection your insurance adjuster will formalize claims paperwork providing you with a fair market value to repair the damage. Our trained professionals will work with your insurance adjuster/carrier for a fair and complete statement of damage. Sit back, relax, and let our experienced professional staff, dedicated to customer satisfaction work through the insurance process for you.
IMPORTANT: Be sure a Professional Roofers, Inc representative is on-site when your insurance claims adjuster makes their initial visit.

Professional Roofers, Inc has worked with most insurance companies to satisfy storm claims for damages. Professional Roofers, Inc is licensed, insured, registered and a certified contractor.
Professional Roofers, Inc employees are extremely familiar with Homeowners Insurance policy/ processes and procedures regarding damages caused by hail or wind/storm. We are familiar with requirements each insurance carrier has for a roof to be totaled and therefore replaced. We have established relationships with many insurance adjusters, and have gained their respect.
Our initial written roof contract price estimate will probably vary from the actual replacement/ repair insurance adjuster's price. Our price is an estimate. Note; ----your final contract price is always the price quoted by your insurance company and never greater than that amount----- Not our estimate. Our contract price estimate is based on an independent pricing guideline that provides industry standard "fair market value" pricing for all areas of the United States, and is recognized by most insurance companies. However, there are many reasons for a variance in costs, most common is a variance in the amount of material required. We always use the insurance quoted price and any discrepancy in price is handled by us with your insurance carrier. Professional Roofers, Inc works with your insurance company on all aspects of your claim relieving you of the involvement and associated stress that can come from completing the roof replacement and repair process.
Your total “out of pocket” cost is always known before signing a contract. Professional Roofers, Inc assumes any pricing risk involved in the installation of your new roof or other repairs. You know exactly what your expense will be.
Proving an insurance loss is the responsibility of the insured. It is critical to contract with a roofing professional prior to an insurance adjuster evaluating the roof. The insurance company adjuster is not required to find damage, just because your neighbors experienced hail or storm/wind damage. In the event you are not able to specifically identify hail or wind/storm damage on your roof, it is critical to connect someone who can represent your best interests. A representative of Professional Roofers, Inc will prepare your roof for insurance inspection marking and indicting areas of damage prior to insurance adjuster visit. We will then schedule with you to meet with your insurance adjuster at your home or business in order to assure the most favorable decision.
Professional Roofers, Inc understands the entire insurance claims process and is willing to work with the insurance company on your behalf. Professional Roofers, Inc will complete the paperwork for the insurance company's payment. You pay nothing until the job is complete and you are completely satisfied.
There are no deposits required. A payment equal to insurance proceeds and your deductible is due upon receipt of these monies from your insurance company, but not before your satisfaction, that we have met your expectations of a job well done. Once a roof is complete and you are satisfied with the quality of workmanship/ installation, a payment equal to the actual cash value, depreciation and deductible is due. Final payment is not due until all insurance proceeds have been received by you. No payments are due until the work is complete and you approve and are satisfied with the roof installation. All payments are subject to your contract terms.
With an insured loss the insurance company will pay up to their settlement figure as long as you provide an invoice under the company’s guidelines. If you choose a company that gives you a low estimate, and provides standard work, the insurance company will pay only the amount of the low estimate.
If you choose a quality-conscious company that will provide the best roof-using quality materials and up to date roof accessories, the insurance company will pay their final bill, as long as it does not exceed the adjuster's estimate.
In other words, whether you get a cheap roof or a roof with all of the accessories by a quality company, your cost is only your deductible.
Fair and responsible pricing: As we all know, there is always someone who will do it cheaper. Professional Roofers, Inc has continuous cost information sharing with the insurance company adjusters and is always aware of current pricing. Insurance companies do continuous research in the ever-changing costs for repair and replacement in order to pay the lowest and fairest cost to their insured's. The insurance company expects you to use a professional quality contractor that can do repair and replacement in a timely manner, pay all bills promptly to avoid material and mechanic liens, provide quality communication and service during the process, and ultimately warrant all work. Insurance proceeds typically provide sufficient compensation for a professionally managed contractor to provide proper service to its clients.
Reputable and professional contractor. In the event your insurance carrier has determined you have a valid claim and you have your check, you have the opportunity to interview various contractors and receive competitive proposals. It is imperative that you base your decision not only on the value received, but also the reputation and professionalism of the contractor.
Recoverable Depreciation. As most insurance carriers initially pay the actual cash value, recoverable depreciation is only paid up to the actual amount of the contractor’s invoice. Why sacrifice having a quality, conscientious, and professional contractor who will be there when you need him in order to save the insurance company a few dollars?
"The bitterness of poor quality is long remembered after the sweetness of a low price."
